There are good rail connections to the Arlberg from Austria, Germany and Switzerland – and the Hotel Tannbergerhof is also very easy to reach from both Zurich and Innsbruck airports.
We recommend that drivers – particularly on Saturdays during the peak season – plan their journey so that the Feldkirch–Lech and Imst–Lech sections are travelled before 09:30 and after 14:00. On the return journey, the period between 10:30 and 15:00 is prone to traffic jams. In winter, you should expect snow-covered roads and winter tyres are compulsory. We also recommend bringing snow chains, as they are often compulsory on snow-covered roads. PLEASE NOTE: During the winter months, the road between Lech and Warth is closed!

You can have your skis and equipment serviced or hire them right next to our hotel at the adjacent ‘Intersport’ sports shop or in the ski cellar of the Tannbergerhof’s partner hotel, the Hotel Krone*****. ATMs, grocery shops and other essential amenities are also located in the immediate vicinity. And last but not least: the two après-ski bars at the Tannbergerhof have cult status on the Arlberg. Fancy a refreshing drink or two, or a hot mulled wine or hot chocolate after skiing at the outdoor bar or in the cosy " title="Tannberg Bar">Tannberg Bar of our 4* hotel? In summer, you’ll find the Rüfikopf cable car and the Oberlech mountain railway practically on your doorstep, as well as the local bus stops for Zug and Warth/Schröcken, allowing you to reach some of Austria’s most beautiful spots such as Lake Spullersee, Lake Formarinsee and Lake Körbersee. Coming from Tyrol, take the B197 over the Arlberg Pass from St. Anton to St. Christoph, then the B198 and over the Flexen Pass to Lech Zürs.
Coming from Vorarlberg, you can reach the Hotel Tannbergerhof via the S16 through Langen am Arlberg, then take the Arlberg Pass road B197 to Stuben and continue via the B198 and over the Flexen Pass to Lech Zürs.
Motorways in Austria are subject to tolls. Vignettes are available at border crossings, petrol stations, post offices, tobacconists, your motoring club and at Lech Zürs Tourism.
