At the Tannlägeralpe – almost at the end of the valley – the trail takes you round a loop out of the valley and, after a while, branches off to the right at the old hunting lodge. The trail then leads gently uphill through the forest to the Zugersäge. Here, you cross the Lech via a bridge and join the winter hiking trail, which takes you back to the picturesque little village of Zug.
