Your holiday away from the slopes in Lech am Arlberg

A winter holiday in Austria’s Arlberg region offers a much more relaxed atmosphere, yet you’re still surrounded by a stunning winter landscape; there’s plenty to discover even away from the slopes and ski resorts. Whether on a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride, a winter hike through snow-covered forests, out on the numerous cross-country trails around Lech, attempting daring ice climbing, or the even more extreme sport of heliskiing – you’ll experience a winter paradise that leaves nothing to be desired. Enjoy an unforgettable winter holiday in Austria with exclusive après-ski right at the hotel. Lech am Arlberg offers plenty of opportunities for a relaxing holiday all year round. When the glittering winter slopes give way to blooming alpine meadows in spring, the mountain world opens up for a summer spent on the most beautiful hiking trails in the Alps, before the golden autumn bathes the peaks in a special atmosphere and entices visitors with culinary highlights.

Link lift connecting the St. Anton and Warth-Schröcken ski resorts

In 2014, the Auenfeldjet, the link lift between the Arlberg and Warth-Schröcken ski areas, began operating. The lift gave you access to 15 cable cars and lifts with 49 perfectly groomed slopes and countless off-piste runs, as well as enabling you to reach the villages of Schröcken and Warth on skis. With the opening of the Flexenbahn in the winter of 2016/17, a further link was created between Zürs and Stuben/Rauz, and the St. Anton ski area. This means that all the resorts on the Arlberg can be easily reached on skis. This makes Ski Arlberg the largest interconnected ski area in Austria, with 350 kilometres of groomed runs and over 200 kilometres of powder runs available every day. Perfect for a wonderful skiing holiday in Lech. With a holiday in Lech, you’ll be right in the heart of this vast Austrian ski area and can decide on the spot every day which part of the Arlberg you’d like to enjoy.
