“Mein Weg” – or, as the people of Vorarlberg so beautifully put it in their dialect, “Min Weag” – is the name of the Vorarlberg circular hiking trail that winds its way through many of the region’s most beautiful landscapes. This unique circular trail in Vorarlberg not only offers stunning natural scenery and impressive mountain vistas, but also invites visitors and locals alike to find peace and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind. At the same time, you’ll meet like-minded people every day who are on the same “Min Weag” stages, which can lead to enriching encounters.
The “Min Weag” forest trail stretches an impressive 31 stages and passes through six regions. This circular hiking trail in Vorarlberg can be tackled either in one go or in sections, and can be walked either clockwise or anti-clockwise. It stretches from Lake Constance to the high mountains and back again.
From the gentle rolling hills of the Bregenzerwald to above the tree line in the Silvretta or the Rätikon – the “Min Weag” offers everything a hiker’s heart could desire in terms of scenery. Every municipality and its people also have their own character and a very special flair – including, of course, Lech am Arlberg. By the time you reach the forest trail, it becomes clear that this supposedly small federal state to the left of Tyrol is not so small after all.
