Experience one of Europe’s last remaining wild river landscapes. Over a distance of around 125 km, you’ll follow the River Lech from its source near Lake Formarin to the Lech Falls in Füssen in the Allgäu. Along the way, you’ll encounter one of Europe’s largest colonies of ibex, cross Austria’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge and visit the Bavarian royal castles – a unique experience of nature.
Tip: When you arrive at Lake Formarin, you’ll be able to admire a beautiful natural mountain lake where you can even go fishing (with a valid fishing permit from the Lech Zürs Tourism information office)!
