The starting point for this unique experience is Balmalp, above Zug, in the heart of the Lech ski area. You can reach it either on skis or on foot via the Zugerbergbahn. Champagne gondola rides are available daily in winter from 10.30 am to 5.00 pm – last booking at 3.00 pm. The exclusive gondola ride lasts around 1.5 hours. Up to seven people can take part at a time. Larger groups will be split across several gondolas. You also have the option of waiting for the gondola in the Moët & Chandon Champagne Lounge at the mountain station or on the Balmalp sun deck, and swapping places at short notice.
The experience is rounded off with a leisurely winter walk or snowshoe hike from Lech to the Zugerbergbahn valley station. A taxi will also take you directly to the valley station. To get there, you can take the local bus from Lech and then take a short winter walk from the bus stop to the cable car. Parking spaces are limited.
