The four-star hotel in the centre of Lech am Arlberg
All your activities are close by and accessible: mountain railways, sports shops, après-ski and much more
Spend your holiday in Lech on the slopes of the beautiful Arlberg. Things to know before you arrive:
Getting to your centrally-located hotel in Lech
The Arlberg has good rail connections from Austria, Germany and Switzerland as well as from the airports in Zürich and Innsbruck.
If you plan on coming by car, we recommend that you travel the roads from Feldkirch to Lech or Imst to Lech either before 9:30am or after 2:00pm, especially on Saturdays during peak season. For your return journey, please be aware that the roads are generally very busy between 10:30am and 3:00pm. In winter, roads may be covered with snow and winter tyres must be fitted to your vehicle. We recommend that you bring snow chains with you, as these may be required in the event of heavy snowfall. We hope you enjoy a safe journey to your holiday in Lech am Arlberg!
The heart of Lech
The four-star Tannbergerhof is the only ski-in, ski-out hotel in Lech am Arlberg and one of the town's oldest hotels. As such, it is right in the thick of things and close to the most important landmarks in Lech. Guests at our hotel need only walk for one minute to reach the Rüfikopf cable car or the ski lifts (Schwarzwand, Schlegelkopf and Berghof lifts) or four minutes to the Oberlech mountain railway.
The railways run in winter and during the Arlberg's wintry spring season in Lech Zürs, which is now connected with the other areas of the Arlberg to form Ski Arlberg, the largest ski region in Austria. Skis and equipment can be serviced or hired at Sigi’s Skikeller in Tannbergerhof's partner hotel, the five-star Krone. ATM facilities, grocery shops and other important conveniences can all be found near the hotel. And let's not forget that the après-ski bars at the Tannbergerhof are so popular, they almost have a cult following on the Arlberg. Do you fancy a refreshing drink or two at the Aprés Ski bar in our four-star hotel after your day on the slopes? Call in, and you'll see that all of Lech's winter guests get together at our bar right beside the ski lifts. Did we mention that the hotel is right in the centre of town? You won't find a better location: the heart of Lech!
