The Min Weag hiking circuit showcases the most beautiful aspects of the Vorarlberg
Hike around the Arlberg region in 31 stages
"My path" – or, as the Vorarlberg dialect would have it, "Min Weag" – is a hiking circuit around the Arlberg leading past some of the most beautiful scenery in Vorarlberg. Visitors and locals alike come to seek peace and leave their daily cares behind here among the mountain landscapes. Conversely, there is always the possibility of enriching encounters with other like-minded people, fellow travellers on the pathway.
The Vorarlberg circuit runs through six different regions
The Min Weag forest trail boasts a grand total of 31 stages, passing through six distinct regions. Hiking enthusiasts can tackle the whole loop in one go or hike the route in sections in either direction. The trail runs from Lake Constance up into the high mountains and back.
From the gently rolling hills of the Bregenzerwald forest, above the tree line to the Silvretta or the Rätikon – you'll see every kind of landscape along the way. Each district and people have their own distinctive character and individual flair – including Lech am Arlberg, of course. If you hadn't already realised it, this hiking path will prove that the apparently small region tucked away to the left of Tyrol is really not so small after all.
