If you are also always looking for new hiking tours around Lech, then we are happy to present the new concept of the „Lechweg“ - a hike from the spring to the waterfall.

This hiking trail will take you on an easy and safe hike in a beautiful mountain backdrop. This initiative, stemming from 5 tourism organizations, is to be implemented and presented to the public by September 2011.

The 125 km long hiking trail begins at the headwaters of the Lech river at around 2000 m above sea level and ends with the Lech waterfall at your feet. A special experience for all those who take the trip through the mountain to the foothills of the Alps, from the small stream to the wild river. You can take the trail either along the Lech river or at a medium altitude with a panoramic view. While hiking you’ll be able to catch a glimpse of the history of local nature and people and their relationship to the river. Many trail signs and rest areas guarantee an enjoyable hike.
