Winter gear is mandatory on the following routes:
Your car must be equipped with winter tires or studded tires, the use of snow chains, nonfreeze liquid in your car as well as any additional equipment for winter-typical driving conditions. This gear is absolutely essential when it comes to winter-street conditions, especially when encountering snow, snow mud or ice, or very low temperatures (freezing). Generally, please keep in mind that conditions such as short period of daylight, fog, snowfall etc. may influence your driving.
BEWARE: From 20th December - End of April 2014 the route between Lech and Warth will be closed!
